All Saints’ College has a vibrant choral program with seven choirs across the Junior and Senior Schools.
In the Senior School, the boys and girls choirs function separately and are combined for special events. The choirs perform extensively within the College at Eucharists, Assemblies and Concerts throughout the year.
All choirs have excelled at the Fremantle Eisteddfod, and in 2016, were awarded four first places, with marks all above 90%.
In August 2016, the College was one of only two schools invited to perform in a prestigious concert with the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Opera Chorus. Our combined Senior choir participated in this special concert at St Mary’s Cathedral, conducted by Richard Gill AO. The same year they also performed in the WAAPA 25th Anniversary Gala Concert in the Perth Concert Hall.
Last year there was a whole College focus on Australian Choral Music and all of our choirs took part in a professional CD recording, which was produced by internationally-acclaimed sound engineers, Malcolm and Jamie Luker.
