Choralfest Freo 2019

Choralfest Freo 2019 is going to be a convention with a difference. In siting it in the centre of the busy heritage town of Fremantle, we are setting out to work with local musicians and civic institutions, as well as visitors from all over Australasia, to deliver four days of activity that cover a wide range of representation of choral music. We aim to combine inclusivity of theme and content with performances that are both excellent and persuasive – and all the more memorable for taking place in some of the most historic buildings in Australia. There will be an academic symposium embedded in the Choralfest schedule, as well as delegate choirs to suit all ages and levels of ability. Whether you come with a choir to present your distinct repertoire, or as an individual to participate as a singer, or to develop your conducting skills, Choralfest Freo 2019 will provide you with experiences that renew your commitment to and love of the oldest art form to have emerged as an inseparable part of the evolution of human culture.
